Australian Open Junior Championships Semi-finals
Australians Nick Kyrgios (3) and Thanase Kokkinakis will contest the boys\' singles final. Both won relatively easily in two sets. Kyrgios eliminated Italian Filippo Baldi. Kokkinakis took care of Croat Borna Coric (11). Adding to the Australian strong showing in boys\' events Jay Andrijic and Bradley Mousley won the doubles competition over Maximillian Merterer (GER) and Lucas Miedler (AUT).
The two highest seeded girls\' will fight for the singles crown Ana Konjuh (CRO) needed three sets to fend off Elizaveta Kulichkova (RUS). Katerina Siniakova (CZE) struggled less in her defeat of Anett Kontaveit (EST). Konjuh already has the doubles crown as she and partner Carol Zhao (CAN) beat Oleksandra Korashvili (UKR) and Barbora Krejcikova (CZE) in a match tie-break. The extra time on court made cost Konjuh in the final.
